Dear Choir Director:
Final preparations are being made for the 2018 NEMO 6th Grade Honors Choir clinic. This year’s clinic will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Moberly Area Community College (MACC) Activities Center. The clinician this year will be Dr. Amity Bryson. Students will need to learn the music prior to rehearsal day other than “It Takes a Village”. Please ask students to be prepared with a pencil and their music. Students may bring bottled water that day, but all other food and drinks are to be consumed in the lobby or outside of the Activities Center.
The fee for the 2018 clinic is $4.00/ student. School classification will determine the number that you may bring: 1A/2A–20 students, 3A-5A—30 students. Please make every attempt to send a check or bring it with you that day, please no purchase orders. Make checks payable to NE District #2 with 6th Grade choir in the memo. If you wish to mail your check, the address is listed on the registration form.
Now to Parking: Students may be dropped off at the door and then buses will need to proceed to the parking area. During the day you may park in the lot closest to the Center. However, during the evening we ask that buses park in the upper East lot to allow parents to park closer. Please direct your bus drivers to park there. Also, this is a NON-SMOKING Campus. Please be sure your drivers are not smoking on campus.
Directions: take Hwy 24 West from Hwy 63. You will continue West through the stop light at Business 63, up a hill and through 2 more stop lights. You will pass Casey’s on the left and under the RR bridge. The next stoplight is Holman Road and Route JJ, you will take a left there. Continue straight even when the road curves….there will be 2 stop signs and then the Activity Center Drive is on the left.

These are the notes from Amity Regarding these pieces
“Please share with the teachers my passion and commitment to their students. If they would fully prepare the other pieces and leave “It Takes a Village” as a magical surprise—I can get it ready that day. It might be best if we all started fresh and together, no worries, only excitement for the day.”
